Meeting Aida El Ayoubi was always a fantasy beyond reach. For me, she had always been a mystery. I’ve always wondered how the person behind this extraordinary voice would be like, but I was sure that she had a unique persona, and when you would sit with her, you would be bound to listen. She is a person who respects her privacy, her family, her music and her close relationship with God. We were very lucky to get a very rare interview with this music legend and witness her glorious comeback.
